10Let's explore Revenge of the Sith's tie-in toys and action figures like the 3.75 Star Wars figure line by Hasbro, the Attacktix line, the lightsabers and much more.
The amount of toys and collectibles that were released in 2005 to coincide with Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith was amazing. Hasbro had dozens of 3 3/4 inch action figures released that year, as well as many world building items like spaceships and creatures. This included things like the ARC-170 Fighter piloted by clone troopers, the Jedi Interceptors or Jedi Starfighters with Anakin Skywalker, a repack of the LAAT/i Republic Gunship, the Boga with Obi Wan Kenobi and much more. Hasbro also released a line of Star Wars figurines called Attacktix. it was a battle figure game or tabletop game that centered around collectible figures with action features. They came in blind boxes so you didn't know what you were going to get, much like trading cards. The attacktix line, much like HeroClix before it, was ahead of its time. The toy industry is now dominated by bling bag toys, but they were less common back then.
Hasbro also release many toy Lightsabers. Some of these lightsabers were electronic and some were simple ones with no lights and sounds. They also released the now iconic Darth Vader voice changing helmet. And Burger King had a huge line of fast food toys based on Star Wars Episode 3 as well. And LEGO had many Star Wars Lego sets that year as well as the tie-in LEGO Star Wars Videogame.
Star Wars Episode 3 Revenge of the Sith was a big deal. It was Anakin's fall to the dark side, and his fight with Obi-Wan. The Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic fell, and Anakin lost Padme Amidala and his soul. And Emperor Palpatine and his evil Galactic Empire rose and clonetroopers became stormtroopers. The Star Wars prequels are awesome and Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith is epic!
