25Let's explore the hype and anticipation for Batman Forever! The excitement, and the worry, leading up to the film was huge. And there were lots of tie-ins for this movie and that helped create the hype!!
When Batman Forever was on its way the media attention was huge. it was being covered by both print and television incessantly. And there was a Batmania of sorts going on thanks to all of the merchandise and the movie tie-ins like the action figures from Kenner (Hasbro), the fast food tie-ins at McDonalds like the glassware campaigns with the awesome mugs of Batman, Robin, The Riddler and Two-Face. There were videogames by Acclaim, books, the soundtrack, the score, VHS tape, figurines and statues by applause, and much more. there was no escaping this movie, and I will remember the summer of 1995...Forever!
