The end of the exceptional 1.9 update and the end of Version 1 era as a whole. But we still survived as version 2.0 and San Francisco awaits, featuring J, Mercuria and Pioneer...or does Mercuria go first in that sentence? Still a little surprised about that banner difference from the CN version, but hey, a little more time to save up for the big J! More on that later...


So of course, I tried my hardest to barely get myself Lucy for the 3rd time. While she is amazing as she is right now, that Limited-ness and how great Lucy is just in general, I thought if luck was going to be on my side, I would have loved for it to be here, and if not, well at least I can get myself some extra materials out of it. Just a shame that Kakania took a little too many of my resources for my liking which prevented me from getting that free Lucy copy at 200 summons, but hey, that's the way it goes sometimes!

We also had the little mini-event in the 5 day countdown as usual! Nice little appetiser of what was to come. When the update actually came, we also came across some new garments for Spathodea, 6 and Kanjira, with Sputnik's new one available for free a little later! I love the detective look for 6, from Apeiron balancer to nightlife detective, very different but very cool! Meanwhile, Spathodea goes from boxer to...video game character? Also very cool, as well as her new animations to reflect this difference!

And of course, Kanjira with the cat-inspired attire, very awesome new look too! These garments seem to be bringing everyone out of their comfort zones, or at least showing another side to them, and I'm all for it! Of course, we have to mention Sputnik and her awesome sombrero too! Garments all look awesome here in my opinion!


Which leaves us to the one who swapped places with Joe, Mercuria! While I'm sure her potential is rather solid, I don't know if for me, she is worth going out of my way for. In the long run, she will probably find her way to me eventually, but for now, I can probably manage, so even though I would usually do 10 rolls to test my luck (how I got Isolde), I won't be doing that this time.

If I get lucky, I think maybe I'd like for it to be form the future J banner instead, since I think he could be interesting to try out with the Shield/Counter stuff. However, I don't think he is as necessary either, so I think I will limit myself to 10 attempts. Maybe another 10 taking it up to 20 depending on where my head is at to make up for skipping here, but I want to be prepared for 2.2, so if I have to make the painful decision to skip him if it comes to that. This may also mean limiting myself to only 10 rolls when it comes to Tuesday and Argus, plus if a Vila banner rerun happens, I may try my hand a little bit there too, who knows?
Still, maybe I can pull off 200 Summons when Ms Kim-I mean Anjo Nala comes around? Who knows. It would be great to do that, but I need luck and patience on my side!

If anyone did go for Mercuria, hopefully you were lucky with her Cosmic Energy guiding her to you though! For now though, timestamp time, and here's to more 2.0 fun!
