22Reverse-Flash's real name is Eobard Thawne, he's also been known as 'Professor Zoom'. Created by John Broome and Carmine Infantino. He first appeared in 1963. Eobard Thawne, a professor from the 25th Century and the curator of the Flash Museum. He became obsessed with Barry Allen (the original Flash from the 21st Century) at a young age. He dedicated his life to studying the Flash and his power source, The Speed Force. Eventually he was able to access this power and he used it to travel back in time. Not satisfied with his 'best friend's feelings. He decided that his destiny was to create his own 'negative' version of the Speed Force and switched his emblem. His costume's also the reverse color scheme of Barry Allen's. Believing that tormenting Barry is the only time Barry will spend with him, Thawne made this torment his life's mission. His extensive history with time travel has led to multiple versions of him having existed.
