I've been super hyped for this ever since I saw the previews, and the final result did not disappoint. I'm a huge fan of artsy levels, I even said on my twitter yesterday that when done correctly they are so entertaining. This level is just that, and super fun too. I'd say this is probably hard demon difficulty. Anyways, let's get into the review!

I absolutely LOVE this level. I usually say that levels with lack of cohesion end up looking messy and often times lazy, but it works so well here. The song for this is so chaotic and carefree, and so are the visuals to accompany that. I love the execution of ideas too. The art feels like it's straight from a rap album cover, and it all moves so fluidly to the song. That's a really neat thing about this level, the movements and transitions are so smooth. That is honestly a must when doing a level of constantly changing style, you need to be able to have the level flow between them seamlessly and this does that so well. Something else this does well is good texturing. Little details like different colored splotches on the stone blocks in the Devin styled part or shading and frays on the elephant flag aren't necessary of course, but they make all the difference when presenting a complete package with awesome attention to detail. And of course, I love the ideas for the art on their own. One of my favorites is definitely the checkerboard robot section with the cassette tape. It just looks like something I've never seen before in GD, and the way the extreme detail of the cassette contrasts the more simple yet poppy environment is great eye candy. I'm also a huge fan of the effects to complement the art in this as well, as those are two of my favorite styles. The way rainbow glow is made in multiple parts to create a mesmerizing atmosphere not only looks clean yet crazy, but also goes with what the lyrics of the song are talking about which is always a great inclusion. As I said, this level is very carefree with its styles and references. I think it's really respectable when creators put whatever they want with a level even if it's not the conventional choice and make it look good. An example of this is Lil Darkie's logo following and singing to you in various points throughout the level. You'd think this would be an out of place addition, but considering the song and nature of the level I love that the creators went out of their way to animate and include it. I also think that this level is a great "sequel" to Eff as the creators said. It references the original during one part in a more modern and trippy way, but mostly becomes its own thing while still keeping that rap music element in both the song and visuals. This is surely one of my favorite levels to come out in recent time due to all of this, and definitely deserves at least a feature.

As for the gameplay, I had a lot of fun with what EndLevel brought for us here. His gameplay does sync in a pretty unusual way but it's so satisfying to pull off. I really appreciate how in some part's it is simple, but isn't afraid to get wild like that one spammy spider that goes exactly to the words of the song. It's also so admirable to me that it's willing to be not sightreadable, yet not unfair. There are parts where the gameplay is hidden or moves up and down on the screen. Even though that might seem annoying, the base gameplay is just intuitive enough that you flow right along. Being super fun and incredibly characteristic visually; this level has it all!
