16Self-proclaimed "licensed master carpenter" Terry Bellamy of Higher-Hands Construction in Ottawa, Ontario spent five years living in my house with the promise of finishing the basement. See for yourself the result of this contractor's efforts.
2013-10-21 Update: Terry is now arguing that he didn't do that work. He is claiming to HomeStars.com (to whom I submitted a review with a link to this video) that it was me that did the work and I am just trying to ruin his good name by blaming him for it. I have a signed contract that puts him in the house during those years while I have a signed contract putting me in Zurich, Switzerland during the same time. I have photos and video of the basement from the day I left Canada and the day I returned to Canada, and I have emails of us discussing the progress. I don't think I was writing those myself while popping by during the weekends in order to do a little basement work.
