"And it feels so good.." I joined the very first server that I learned the basics of the game on. The very first server I ever stayed on for more than 1 day, was a different zombie PVE server. That server didn't have raidable bases, the options for what to do or learn were limited by comparison. Enter, the 5x "Redux" server, where I learned raiding mechanics and most of the monuments originally.
The surplus of custom AI spawns and loot, including live weapon drops are always a fun change of pace. Most other typical 'PvE' servers that you find with empty monuments feeling like ghost towns. The monuments on this server are always spawned fully, typically with dozens of AI to fight and practice your combat mechanics on, whilst learning how to run the monuments and colored keycard doors at the same time.
Whenever I have had my fix of the "perils" of solo 'official vanilla' Rust, I usually find myself on this server specifically, or a similar one. It's a great place to do all of the 'PVE' mechanics of the game that you love, without having to worry about being offline raided in the 1st night that you log off. I will always enjoy revisiting this server and the fun that it facilitates.
I want to say a special thank you to the awesome admin(s) as well!
