It's basically Shrek.

Also the music is unbelievable.

There were so many more tiny details I wanted to completely go off on that I couldn't fit into the script without it being an overbloated mess. The symbolism of the car or the earrings, the shadow players, whether it's more or less gay than JoJo's, how the PG-13 aspects are more horrifying than typical Shounen where the proportions of blood and clothing are switched, I have deleted more entries from this list than are on it and that's still only surface level stuff.

This show is all I've thought about for like a month or more and I've only fell deeper into it the further this process has gone on. I've realised these videos are mostly about me taking things my brain needs to process and getting it all out there, like each one is a piece of myself, I guess that's how most creative endeavours feel. Now when I talk about Utena I can just say, 'that show is awesome' and start singing the OP instead of going full Pepe Silvia.
