In this video I give you a review of the new REX Skyforce 3D, a new weather engine & texture addon for FSX, FSX Steam Edition & Prepar3D (all versions). New features include new 3D Cloud models, new sky textures and a general complete replacement of the cloud & texturing system of FSX and Prepar3D.

Everything else is pure Prepar3D V4 without any filters or PTA stuff so you can see Sky Force 3D in its purest form! :)

- Improved 3D look to clouds, at least from a distance
- Added variety to the sky
- Great sky textures for all cycles of the day
- 3D Cloud model & texture syncing independent of weather engine in use
- Compatibility with other weather engines including Active Sky
- Improved overcast conditions

Main negatives:

- Clouds from up close still look ugly and rotate due to use of 2d textures
- Not the 'revolution' in weather portrayal in FSX or Prepar3D many expected, but still looks pretty
- Only weather and sky associated textures, no ground or water textures as with previous REX products
