This is a full sized, static, Boeing 737-800 simulator running on Prosim and Prepar3D V4. Other software includes Active Sky, ORBX Innsbruck, Aerosoft Skiathos X, FlyTampa Amsterdam and Aerosoft Rotterdam. Hardware includes Simworld and Sismo, and the outside view is provided by 3 beamers. Since this is a private simulator I cannot disclose any other info, but if you are looking to fly in a simulator some day there are plenty of options usually, especially in the Netherlands, and as you can see, it doesn't have to be full-motion, a static sim is already awesome and will give you a sense of motion already! :)
None of us are real world pilots, just flight simulation enthusiasts. Since it was the first time for me and Twan to fly in a full-sized simulator like this, we didn't do much configuration, we just enjoyed the time we had by flying as much as possible at different locations and making some small flights, **so don't be offended when you see certain things that are not done 'the right way'! ;)**
Flying a sim like this is quite different from flying your aircraft using your desktop simulator. If you ever get the chance to fly in one, I'd highly recommend it! ;)
