In this video I show you how to create a flight plan using PFPX. I'm using my flight from Amsterdam to Riga (link above) as an example, so you have a reference to the actual flight. Next I will review the flight plan, discuss some of its important items, and show you how to fill in the flight plan form in vPilot using information from your flight plan.

In general, if you use the find or autoroute function of PFPX it will come up with a good route provided you have a recent AIRAC cycle installed. If not, try to correct it manually by changing your flight level or altering the route a bit using a website like Skyvector as a reference or the World Map view in PFPX.
