Here's a new composition. Easily one of my favorite songs in terms of composition. I've been listening to a lot of Progressive Rock and Metal, Jason Richardson being one example of someone who inspired me to even finish this, and Casper from @ProjectDAWNMusic was also a contributing factor, since his music inspired me to start the track.
This is something of a sequel to Sagittarius from a few months ago, even though technically these songs and their astronomical relations are practically unlinked. One is a star in a constellation, the other is a constellation and star sign. That said, it's name is inspired by the star, so there's that. I went for something faster and more Prog Metal, and I think it turned out great!
The solo is easily one of my greatest. I've been practicing a lot of different techniques over the last few weeks, sweep picking being one of the main techniques. I was actually confident enough to put in a sweeping section right at the end of the solo, and holy crap it was a lot of fun. I went for something mildly inspired by Blackened by Metallica, and mixed in a few elements from some other songs I have. I hope the solo isn't too messy, and you enjoy it! :)
