After playing the sea ice biome I thought I would try a new temperate forest biome base . Sea Ice was challenging but also very boring as many fun elements of the game were not accessible.

I'm going to attempt to build up to 30 colonists (pawns) in this base.

I plan out the exterior wall of the base and rough out some halls and rooms. The base should eventually include:

- a cooking area (by the freezer(s)
- dining area with high beauty
- recreation room (pool table, TV etc)
- storage rooms
- freezers
- animal zone
- growing zone
- 30 bedrooms
- hospital
- work room (all the production machines)
- defensive areas
- maybe interior hydroponic areas

Primary goal is to minimize walking distances to provide made food yield while keeping colonists happy with high beauty and a well defended base.
