Slime Rancher | Strange Diamond and Indigonum with Advanced Drill | Gameplay - part

Welcome back everybody! To Let's Play #SlimeRancher - gameplay, part 14! Today we will try to test out one of the new devices that are available in Slime rancher since the science update! All of the gadgets in order to be constructed needs resources. The Extractors which are essential for production of every other gadgets in Slime Rancher are the most basic de-vices and require the basic plorts.
The Drill as every other extractor gadgets is divited in to tiers, Novice, Advance master and one unknown that may or may not appear in further of Slime rancher. The Drill requires from us to gather pink plorts, a few Rock Plorts and just a little bit of rad Plorts. So in general You need the basic plort for construction of the drill, the tier one plort which is the Rock one and tier 2 plort which is the Rad one. In order to unlock the advance Drill we will need to use the novice drill a few times, After completing 10 circles of production in total in Slime ranch-er we should unlock the advance drill. Even tho the novice one is cheaper to make in re-sources then the advance drill in long run the Advance drill cost the same amount of re-sources as the novice drill but will last for three circles instead of one. So its like getting one drill for free. The Drill in Slime rancher allows Us to access four types of resources

- Strange diamonds are a rare resource obtained with a drill.
- Indigonium is a common resource exclusive only to the Indigo Quarry, obtained with a drill.
- Slime fossils are an uncommon resource obtained with a drill.
- Jellystone is a common resource obtained with a drill.
basically the jellystone can be mined everywhere, the Slime Fossils are more rare but still quite common. The problem comes when we need Indigonium which can be mined only in Indigoquarry and Strange diamonds which can be mined everywhere but will require more time to have a chance for one to drop from the drill in Slime rancher. The Strange diamonds is needed for the most advance gadgets that in the end are the most useful ones like the teleportation devices that we can place all over the ranch or at the far far reach of Slime rancher. In the end to have the biggest output of minerals in Slime rancher I recommend to build the drills in the Indigoquarry at the cave with the first rock gordo. The same one that have a portal to back to the ranch grotto cave. That will not only allow us to easy check the drills from time to time what resources did they mined out but also will make it easier for us to gather and not lose any drill around. The slimes in Slime rancher will ignore the gadgets unless they can directly interact with them like with the spring. But the drills and other ex-tractors won’t bother them in anyway even the Tarr slimes. What is the base place for drills to be build ? Well it does not matter, The drills can be places in every location in Slime rancher but I belive its better to stick with them with the Indigoquarry. The location of de-ployment of the drill does not really matter as the drill will always mine the same resources. The minimal amount of resources the drill can mine is four while the maximum is around eight or nine different resources. When the drill finally finishes extracting resources You can order it to drop them in front of it, don’t worry if they are any slimes around the drill as they will ignore the minerals the Drill will drop so it can just lay around without any problem.
