RISE OF THE REDS 1.87 - GLA Africa Campaign #3 [C&C Generals Zero Hour]
167Rise Of The Reds 1.87 for Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour is the PUBLIC beta available for everyone. All you have to do is to register at SWR Forums, find Rise Of The Reds 1.87 subforums and download it. It needs both previously installed Rise Of The Reds 1.85 and 1.86. Mod works of course only when your C&C Generals Zero Hour is patched up to 1.04 version of the game. And no, please don't ask me how to install it or where to find the 1.87, I simply don't care and I don't want to be your caretaker. During the third mission we have to take care of the Chinese Airbase in the region, mission is divided in three parts. During the first part of the mission we need to capture the Communication Post in the village, fairly easy task. Just use your camouflaged infantry in the occupied buildings and it should be a safe task to do for you with low to zero casualties. Just don't get too close to the Chinese Minigunners, against them our infantry is rather helpless. The second part of the mission, oh boy, it might give you a headache - you must capture the US Airfield to the east of the map. You would also need for sure some infantry and money to defend it later but the problem comes from the uncontrollable Angry Mob. These hotheads destroy everything on their path, the good thing is that they are obliterated fairly easy by Gattlings but you better be fast. You must defend the Airfield, it's a hard task with starting units so it will be better for you to capture the Barracks and Supply Zone nearby. When you get control of the GLA base, it gets much easier and all you have to do is to destroy all enemy buildings on the map.
As for the campaign missions
You must place each map in a specified folder in your Documents /Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour Data/Maps/ directory. Then in the game, take skirmish and choose UNOFFICIAL MAPS.
