Rise of the Ronin - Bladesmith The Setting Sun boss fight
0This Rise of the Ronin game guide video shows the second boss fight with the Bladesmith - it takes places during The Setting Sun main quest (end of the prologue) and this time it's a duel to the death.
Before the boss fight begins the protagonist must help in defeating 2 groups of assassins. Try to avoid losing too much health, because the boss fight starts immediately afterwards.
Bladesmith is using various new moves and the most dangerous are the marial skills ones - whenever you see the red aura it's best to dodge, because using Countersparks would require perfect precision.
Avoid getting hit by the boss if you enter panicked state, because you may end up staggered and you'll expose yourself to further attacks.
Learn Bladesmith's standard sequences and counter each hit or rely on dodges followed by series of your own attacks. Use the opportunity if the red icon appears and you can land a critical hit on the boss.
