I've been threatening to upload another SMW ROM hack playthrough for quite a while now, and here it is: Axem Jinx's Rise to the Challenge!

This game is truly about as hard as level design can get before it becomes kaizo, and sometimes even then it occasionally steps into the realm of ridiculously unfair. In spite of this, I'll be attempting to make a decent, death-less montage of the entire game where, much like Luigi's Adventure, I collect all the dragon coins and secret exits along the way. Just don't expect me to not take damage, 'cause that's basically impossible here.

As for annotations, I'll be trying my best to actually add them to all parts of this playthrough. Luckily, RttC is a much shorter game than Luigi's Adventure, so I hopefully will not get burned out like I did on that game (which I really should go back and annotate someday...).

This video covers the first half of world 1, arguably the hardest world in the first half of the entire game. Water, devious level design, and Mario just don't a good first world make if you wish to entertain any semblance of a difficulty curve.
