An interesting application of one of the most misunderstood pieces of networking equipment that you can buy for your home network :)

With the use of this all connected splitter I can create a "virtual physical wire" to meet the needs of my DIY home automation projects. It can be extended as much as you like into any strange topology (within the limits of the distance obviously etc etc).
