Road Rash on GameBoy??
49Yeah, apparently Road Rash was ported to GameBoy sometime in the mid 1990's. I had no idea this game existed until recently stumbling across a copy in a local used game shop. So of course I grabbed it and here we are now!
The game is one of only a few original GameBoy games that doesn't work in the GameBoy Color, Advance or DS. Basically anything newer than the Pocket this game doesn't work in. I think the game code uses a type of HBlank to refresh the screen in a unique way to help with the "3D" look. This seems to cause issues with newer hardware and many emulators. I tried 2 emulators and both would flash the entire screen intermittently and was very hard on the eyes! I had to try a 3rd emulator option to find one that worked for this video.
