Robinson Crusoe: Adventures on The Cursed Island is a fully cooperative board game where players take on the roles of shipwrecked survivors confronted by the challenges of staying alive without food, shelter or hope of ever being rescued. Players explore the island, hunt for food, build shelter, brace through fierce weather and encounter events that could either make or break morale. There are 6 challenging scenarios and a plethora of experiences to enjoy. So lets gather around like we’re on the tv show survivor, plot, debate and survive.
Gameplay Overview
Robinson Crusoe is a medium to heavy cooperative game that has an incredibly steep learning curve. Don’t let this deter you from investing some time and energy into learning the game because once you have mastered the rules, this game is one of the best board games I have ever played.
There are 6 scenarios.
Castaways, The Cursed Island, Saving Jenny! Volcano Island, Cannibal Island and The Robinson Family. For the rules overview I will be using scenario 1. It is important to note that each scenario varies in its setup, rules and use of icons. Each feels like its own unique game.
