The opening room is pretty annoying if you're not prepared for it, though you can skip some of it if you picked up the jumping utility from Cut Man's stage. If you missed it, this stage is where you collect it. It essentially allows you to increase your vertical velocity once while in mid-air. If you're ascending when you activate it, you'll get a super high jump. If you're descending, you get a mini vertical boost allowing you to hover for a short time.

Elec, bomb, and cut will all do 2 damage a piece to the clone, but I found bomb to be the most useful. It's easy to land a hit, and it's simpler to dodge the clone's attack if he manages to do so. It is a tough fight, but you can sort of lock him into a pattern if you keep attacking. His jump direction is random and he can still get off attacks if you're unlucky.

And yes, I got hit. Expect it in the next two stages as well. My main intent is to show off the Wily stages in good form as well as what the other weapons do. Frustrating perfect runs are left to the robot master stages.
