Across the country personnel from the Army, Royal Navy and RAF have been going through their final preparations for Saturday's Diamond Jubilee Muster and flypast at Windsor Castle.
Nearly 2500 troops from all services will parade in front of her Majesty the Queen at Windsor -- in the biggest display of its kind since Queen Victoria's reign.
In the sky more than 70 past and present aircraft will fly overhead.
Forces News spent the day at RAF Odiham in Hampshire where helicopters of all shapes and sizes were put through their paces.
They will be flying in formation -- along with military planes from the entirety of the Queen's reign -- from Spitfires and a Lancaster to Tornado's and Hercules.
The Helicopters are being thoroughly made-ready, making sure they look their best for Queen Elizabeth the Second:
A dozen helicopters will take part in the fly past, from the Royal Navy's Fleet Air Arm, Army Air Corps and RAF. Merlins will fly shoulder to shoulder with Lynx , Gazelle's with Chinooks.
