A unit of Royal Marines have held a parade at Stonehouse Barracks in Plymouth to mark becoming 30 Commando. The unit was called UK Landing Force Command Support Group. The Marines role as intelligence gatherers will remain the same. Members of 30 Commando expect to deploy to Afghanistan next year along with the rest of 3 Commando Brigade.
