Game #5 is Deadly Towers on the NES, an Action RPG.

This game is right on the edge of what I consider an RPG (many consider it an action-adventure game in the vein of Legend of Zelda), but it has enough RPG-like elements that I've added it to the project.

Difficulty in this game is brutal, but the password system makes it much easier to swallow. Lots of hidden dungeons and rooms that require you to map them out or (easily) get lost.

Found the rest of the end-game gear (really easy to find once you realized they're hidden in the towers), making me a complete killing machine. Killed the 7 tower bosses and burned their bells opening the way to the final boss. After a few attempts (and shopping trips in dungeons to get some protective items and health potions) I managed to kill him, finishing the game in 6:40:08!
