Game #6 is Miracle Warriors: Seal of the Dark Lord on Sega Master System.

A cross between a JRPG style (in combat) and CRPG (navigating the map). The quest starts by trying to find your 4 companions before taking on the final boss.

I finally get the 4th companion, armor everyone up with the best gear, solve some puzzles to find the lair of the final boss... and she destroys my group after stumbling into her lair. Going to need a few more levels before beating her!
