RTX4090 / Once Human / CBT3 / RTSS / Starry Studio please delay the release of this gem!
Will definitely check their next test iteration - would advise not go public this year tho. Service still needs a lot of ironing but the azimuth is perfect and those few changes spot on.
Survival is too trivial while item progress is too slow - good items are hidden behind RNG [gotcha machine for in game currency] or re-running same locations [also RNG] - not as much as in CBT2 but still RNG god gives and takes. It's possible that's a build with slice of finalized/planned mechanics hence those 'missing pieces'.
Very hard but doable for solo player after few attempts to learn boss sequences to adjust. Starry Studio did something right - I'm struggling at the same stage of the game as i was in CBT2 despite all that early game balance they've introduced but this time at least it seems more doable when you will set up all the layers properly ;-)
- all the little bugs since CBT2
- still performance issues
- drawing distance and lod are very low and 'popping' is intensive
- balance is still very wonky
- and there are many slots in it that just scream pay2win soon :-)
- few vehicles + physics needs work
- still the world seems empty [and small as when you progress there is no point in revisiting previous areas]
- way too many missing translations and voiceovers [might be intentional no to share progress here]
- way easier to steamroll bosses with basic build up to level 50 [might be intentional for easier onboarding for CBT3 testers]
00:00:00 START
00:00:35 flight
00:01:54 driving
00:04:35 breaking into LEA Research LAB - Entrance Hall
00:06:21 securing polarized deviants
00:14:32 failing to defeat Dr. Mannheim
Don't judge, i was so overwhelmed that i even forgot to assign deviant to cradle for that fight ;-)
