RTX4090 / Pax Dei / Wilderness Alpha / RTSS / day of Paxian trying to make a living :}
- performance seems to be a bit improved
- but there are also a lot more of micro stutters [mainly on loading next map chunk it seems]
- [ambient] sound of other player actions [probably] is too loud, you can hear something near that is not there
- sometimes game crashes with no trace in windows event logger or UE issue screen [much more than previous alpha]
- initial server issues - well that's obvious - they can stress test the infrastructure, it's not the issue that matters but time it took to fix it and communication with player base on progress
- mining and gathering wood is a step back compared to previous alpha [in terms of action to initiate not the whole mechanic of tree types and stuff]
- backpack & chest ux/management is bad
- overall ui needs a lot of work
- very hard to understand what's the next step to get to for example iron axe, there needs to be some in game encyclopedia
i do not understand what would be the selling point for them to enter EA - i would advise postponing the release to iron out the base game a lot more
