4 days from scratch, I could solve the Rubik's Cube in under 2 minutes.

My brother, Matthew, bought me the cube for Christmas 2007. The next day, I decided to learn how to solve it and nervously scrambled it, not knowing if I'd ever get it back. 4 days later, I could solve it, from any configuration (December 30, 2007). I learned from Jasmine Lee's online tutorial ( http://peter.stillhq.com/jasmine/rubikscubesolution.html ), although her method is not the one I recommend to beginners (I should create a video series of my own to show the method I would teach), it was the best one I could find after doing a lot of research. I actually solve the first layer without algorithms, just because I can.

Cube: Rubik's store bought, no lubrication, brutally hard to turn.
