►Splatoon 2 is the sequel to the Wii U Hit, Splatoon being released for the Nintendo Switch. The third person shooter aspect remains but with new weapons to spice things up and a whole new Story mode as well as new multiplayer ranked modes. The new customization options open up new ways to enhance the look of your squid kids. There are multiple eye colors and skin colors to choose from as well as 4 hair styles and 4 leg wear which are new to Splatoon. As of November 2017, 2 new hair styles for inkling boy and inkling girl were added including a pony tail hair style for inkling girl that you can get by wearing certain head gear. Also, 2 new legwear for the inkling boy and inkling girl. You can customize your squid kid the way you want and make it stand out amongst the other inkling boy and inkling girl in Splatoon 2 for nintendo switch.
►In Splatoon 2, The Food and drink menu items from Crusty Seans Food Truck allows you to increase your reroll rate for a particular ability for your gear for your inkling boy or inkling girl. There are 14 regular Abilities and 12 Unique Abilities for a total of 26 gear abilities. The 14 regular abilities are Ink Saver (Main), Special Charge Up, Sub Power Up, Ink Save (Sub), Special Saver, Ink Resistance Up, Ink Recovery Up, Special Power Up, Bomb Defense Up, Run Speed Up, Quick Respawn, Cold-Blooded, Swim Speed Up and Quick Super Jump. The 12 unique abilities are Opening Gambit which is headgear only, Ninja Squid which is clothing only, Ability Doubler which is splatfest only, Last-Ditch Effort, Haunt, Stealth Jump which is footwear only, Tenacity, Thermal Ink, Object Shredder, Comeback, Respawn Punisher, and Drop Roller.
►There are 4 main modes in Splatoon 2. Turf War an online mode where the team covering the most ground with ink wins, Single Player Hero Mode where the Octarians attack, Salmon Run a PVE Player Vs Environment online mode run by Grizzco Industries where the main objective is to collect Salmonid eggs, especially golden eggs by battling boss salmonid and Ranked Battle and Online Competitive mode. Ranked battle itself has many modes currently. Splat Zones which is like King of the Hill modes from other shooters. Tower Control where an inkling must take control of a tower and ride it into the enemy base, Rain Maker where an inkling must carry the Rainmaker to the enemy base but you have to burst it's bubble shield similar to that of the Zapfish. Clam Blitz where you collect up to 10 clams to form a Power Clam to destroy the other teams barriers and throw more clams into the net.
►In Splatoon 2 Story mode, it takes place 2 years after the original Splatoon. The Great Zapfish is captured once again by the Octarians. DJ Octavio has escaped and Callie has been captured. Without Cap'n Cuttlefish there, Marie takes his place to guide you in Hero mode to get the Great Zapfish back and save Callie.
►In Splatoon 2 Salmon Run, you have to collect the most Power Eggs by defeating the Salmonids and Boss Salmonid in 3 waves.
The boss Salmonid are Steelhead, Flyfish, Steel Eel, Drizzler, Stinger, Scrapper, Maws, Griller, Goldie and MotherShip.
