This quest needs:
A hammer
Chisel
Some elemental (fire,water,earth,air) runes (at least 2 of each)
A Knife
A battered key (to enter the workshop again)
Maybe some super restore potions (like 16 doses or more)
At least two primed bars (two need to finish the quest, an additional 5 through 10 bars are needed to make a set of Cosmic armor or Chaos armor or both)

Before starting the quest, make some elemental bars. Remember a pickaxe, weapon, and 4 pieces of coal for each bar. Attack sleeping earth elementals in the west of the workshop to get elemental ore. With coal and the ore in your inventory, head south to the furnace to make your bars.

Go to the Sorcerer's Tower and search the ground floor bookcase for the Cosmic book to start the quest officially.

Return to Seers' Village and use a knife on the whetstone just before the trick wall that leads to the workshop.

Enter the workshop and enter the first sub-basement. Watch the end of this upload for a refresher on priming elemental bars.
