Once you are wearing Cosmic gloves, go meet up with the robot you activated earlier.

Move west from the bot and pick up a shabby book and open it. Now, you need to feed the robot commands so that it is able and does activate the Chaos machine.

In the center of the room is a conveyor belt system. At the south end, there is a portion of the conveyor belt boxed off called the CPU. When two blocks fill up the CPU, commands are sent to the robot, and it attempts to understand and carry out orders.

For successful action, you need to feed 1 action(red) cube and 1 address(yellow) cube to the CPU. North-east of the CPU, there are two levers to control the system. The two northern levers control the rams that knock cubes into the CPU. The levers lined up north to south activate the conveyor belt so that cubes are rotated in front of the rams.

Address cubes tell the robot where to stand. If a nature cube is knocked into the CPU, the robot will move to the slab marked by the nature symbol. Action cubes tell it what to do once it reaches a destination.

Hopefully, you are carrying a chisel.

Anyway, for starters:
The goal is to break the wall at the law slab, to get a blank slab near the fire slab, to put on a bench near the water slab, to make an astral slab to put on the floor, to make the robot get an earth cube from the astral slab, to break the wall at the earth slab, to operate the machine at the chaos slab.

Starting from the beginning, the cube pairs that should be fed to the CPU are:
Get + Nature
Put + Mind
Break + Law
Get + Cosmic
Put + Mind
Get + Fire
Put+Water
Chisel the astral slab, pick it up, and use on broken astral slab.
Get+Body
Put+Mind
Get+Astral
Put+Mind
Break+Earth
Operate+Chaos

Now place your primed bar and operate the Chaos machine. Take your Chaos bar upstairs to the workbenches and make Chaos boots to finish the quest.

If you want to make more Chaos bars, just feed operate+chaos into the CPU after each machine activation.
