Here's My my quick and simple guide to running Doom (1993) Mods with The GZDoom Source port engine and the zdl launcher .
I've tried to make it pretty easy to follow and tbh it's not hard.

You will need the following a copy of Doom ....If you don't have that try Freedoom instead:

Then You need a copy of GZDOOM

https://zdoom.org/downloads

And finally a Copy of the ZDL launcher

https://www.moddb.com/mods/brutal-doom/downloads/zdl-final-fixed-version

You'll also need some mods but just google it as you can find them in tons of places , But you find some from the same site you get ZDL from.
