This session was just a lot of running around, supplemented by a few shrines here and there. My weapon power level overall fell off, and enemies have scaled down accordingly, to my relief. Instead of the blue and black enemies, I am back to fighting red and blue, which is more manageable.
I messed around with the Goron issue for a while before moving on to the outskirts of the world, which I hugged until I saw a big cube which I might be able to reach? So I ran over and it was placed above a labyrinth whose walls were a little too flat and a little too tall for me. It had a minotaur, so to speak. I tried climbing again, and I saw a chunk of ice and I had to see "why is there a chunk of ice here, in this isolated little room?" I fell all the way to the ground carefully and... it was the end of the labyrinth. I accidentally solved it. I nabbed my earned loot and explored some more, but I don't know that I could reach the structures in the sky with my current kit.
From there I worked my way back around and set out to the Impa marker, because I need better armor and because I feel like I'm missing some key kit components. I engaged in any and all distractions I encountered along the way, naturally, and petered out at a fire/ice shrine whose puzzle was too tough for me as a sleepy player to figure out.
I want to play more of this game more frequently, but even having 2, 3, or 4 hours of time feels too restrictive. I need to get better about making the most of my smaller time windows, because if I leave for work in 3 hours, that's obviously not enough time to do anything, right? It's frustrating how easy it is to resort to doing nothing.
