Rush'N Attack - Arcade (MAME) - "Unkillable" One Life Run
86This game is great, but it's also beyond frustrating! You can't get away with the same tactics that work on the NES version, and it sets you up with spots that are downright cheap. The karate soldiers are pure evil this time around. My execution wasn't too bad all in all, but there were some spots that could have saved me some trouble had I thrown a grenade earlier or later. Fortunately, the game is only 4 stages per loop as opposed to 6 in the NES version. I feel bad for the dogs in this one, though. The arcade doesn't have the option of being PETA friendly by jumping the dogs! Much like any MAME run, I always go into it questioning the full legitimacy of the timing, speed, ROM variations, etc vs playing on a cabinet, but this is nice practice all in all.
Played via MAME4All Dreamcast. No turbos, pausing, save states, tool assists or any other cheats used.
No animals were harmed in the recording of this run.
