Russia has trained Iranian fighter pilots to fly the Su-35 fighter jets
It is reported that Russia has trained a number of Iranian pilots to fly Su-35 fighter jets. The training was held last spring.
This is part of Russia's enhanced partnership with Iran, in which Iran assists Russia by supplying drones.
Considering the training of Su-35 pilots has been carried out, it is very likely that Russia will deliver the fighter jets to Iran next year.
The White House previously said it believed Iran was supplying drones to Russia.
Subsequently, the relationship between the two countries turned into a full-fledged defense partnership through full exchange of weapons and military expertise.
Russia wants to collaborate with Iran on weapons development, including the possibility of establishing a joint production line for drones in Russia.
