Modern Russia has a lot of laws it uses to suppress free speech and criticism of Putin or Russia's actions in Ukraine. I've already covered Russian censorship on this channel before, including the so-called Foreign Agent law. However, recently this law has become one of the main tools that Russia uses to silence people: prominent individuals who oppose Putin are called "foreign agents" and are forced to obey all sorts of ridiculous requirements.
