Ensign, set a course for the MaskedGEEK's home planet warp 6. Engage.

Well I decided to make this video review while I was converting and uploading my most recent video which was my first rant video about a particular YouTube user posting a completely false video, while my video was uploading I was bored out of my skull so this game review is the result of trying to relieve boredom at 11pm at night.

Needless to say Star Trek Bridge Commander in my personal option was the best Star Trek game ever released. Who cares Legacy has better graphics and more actual actors lending their voices to their respective captains?

In Star Trek Bridge Commander you get to issue each order properly (with the exception of actually speaking it, but if you do speak, hey, good for you getting yourself deep in this great game), and you can get to target more specific sub-systems of your enemy. Want to stop that Romulan from cloaking? Take out it's cloaking generator. Want to stop that Cardassian from leaving the area? Take out the warp engines. In actual gameplay missions you even get to do some supply runs, eavesdrop on conversations, do a shakedown of the first ever Sovereign class starship, the USS Sovereign (hence the class name). Not all missions are about destroying your enemy.

True the graphics are dated now (HUGELY) by today's standards, and lipsyncing is nothing more than the face textures changing rather than actual lip movement (there's not even jaw movement). But who care's about that?

While recording the game I wasn't sure of it's availability but afterwards I have found it is still available on Amazon though quite obviously only 2nd hand. If you're a Trekkie and looking for a decent game (I'm looking at you Star Trek Borg), then get this and waste a good few hours with it. I guarantee you won't regret it.
