This is part three of a single-segment speed run of Saga Frontier completed in 6 hours 22 minutes and 17 seconds.

Red Part 2:

Unplanned Battle Count: 0

Compared to the previous run, Berva 2, Shuzer 2, Arachne 2, and MBlackIII go well. However, Boss X takes four turns instead of three thanks to an unfortunately targeted ThunderBall.

Emilia:

Uplanned Battle Count: 1

I play Emilia fairly cautiously compared to some. Most the changes from the previous run are cosmetic. I no longer obtain the LightBazooka or the first campaign fund payment of 500 credits. The former takes 11 seconds to obtain, and that time is never recompensed. The latter doesn't really save time either. There are potentially other route changes that save time, but they introduce more risk into the run. I'm tired of doing this, so I don't include those.

Play quality really starts to suffer in Emilia's chapter. The two battles toward the end, one mandatory and one not could have been completed more efficiently. I have a hard time pressing the R1 button on occasion. Diva goes really well though; I get a five turn victory.

T260G Part 1:

Unplanned Battle Count: 6

Here, my play quality suffers as well. Three of the six unplanned battles I face are simple to dodge. Once, I completed a full game run that had only two unplanned encounters in T260G's chapter.

As far as route changes, I no longer recruit ZEKE. The nine mec battles prior to MecGod go faster partially because I have a smaller party and because I do fewer menu changes. While my route is different; dropping ZEKE was inspired by one of start_button's runs of T260G.
