I obtain AngelArmor solely for this fight but for the QUI boost to EngineerCar.
EngineerCar's QUI is 40. T260G's QUI is 20. To cut out a long explanation of initiative values, this guarantees, or nearly guarantees, that EC will act before T260. Thunder's QUI is 49, so this applies as well. Needless to say, I want the combo SacredSong-Asura, and I get it for these reasons. (TimeLord's QUI is 60, so he has the potential to interrupt EC's and T260G's turns.)

Another note, Overdrive comes the turn following the reduction of TimeLord's HP to below 50% of maximum. T260G thanks to VIT and DEF boosting equipment can survive this.

Note the completely not forced encounter exixting; this wastes around 20 seconds.
