SAITEK X52 THE BEST VALUE HOTAS ? - GamerMuscle Simulation
305In this video we review the saitek X52 or at least talk about why we believe it to be the best value HOTAS on the market !
As a disclaimer I would certainly recommend trying out the different joysticks and HOTAS systems available as a lot of what you like will be down to personal preference.
The key things that would make me recommend the X52 to fellow gamer's
Positives
- Precise input making control of virtual planes and space ships easy
- Adjustable wrest and pinky button height
- Nice feeling joystick easy to hold and grip ;)
- Plenty of buttons that all have nice positive click action
- Three slider / rotational axis
- Yaw on stick for people that don't want to use foot pedals
- Default profiles in many games
As for negatives
- Suction cups are awful (you can take them off)
- Feels very light (some might like this)
- Feels a bit plastic and tacky ( Maybe check the X52 pro out )
- Yaw on stick not good for people that have foot pedals
- Still costs £70-£90 compared to FFB wheels that seems expensive to me :)
- Only one USB cable so you cannot use each part separate
- Throttle has annoying notch and is not as smooth as others on the market.
