Is Your Sales Strategy Out of Date?

I feel your pain.

Really, I do.

What most people don't realize is that because of the 'lockdown' culture, what has happened is millions of people who were 'never online before' suddenly are showing up.

They are watching more videos...
They are reading more emails...
They are spending more time 'making money' HA!
There are more product launches than ever before...

And most of it, frankly, simply does not work.

It doesn't

I call most of these salespeople on the internet:
Noobie predators.

The gap between 'noobie' and 'master' is widening.

People can smell a sales pitch a mile away.

It's time for a different style of selling...

It's not 'attraction marketing'

It's not 'launches'

It's not 'networking'

It's something else. I'm still working on a name for it...

but I can feel it, you feel me?

This is my first attempt at distinguishing it.

It's based on a concept in neuropsychology called Emotional Intelligence and it's a pretty simple idea.

I can 'sell' to you because I truly feel your pain.

I can only feel your pain because I've been there before.

I've been there.

I know the NUMBERS.

What if the way we were approaching digital marketing was putting our prospects into the 'Friends Zone'

Look at Facebook. They call them 'Friends'
Look at YouTube. They call them 'Subscribers'
Look at LinkedIn. They call them 'Connections'

We don't need Friends, Subscribers, or 'Connections'

I don't know about you, but I want to SERVE my CUSTOMERS!

Then it hit me like a brick in the ear...

My customers are STRUGGLING with the same issues I'm struggling with.

...turning 'leads' into sales

...turning 'customers' into repeat customers

What if we were thinking about digital marketing all wrong?

What if it wasn't a 'dating game' but something else?

What if 'clicks'...

What if 'open rates'...

Were simply smoke screens hiding the truth in plain sight?

That's why I put this presentation together. It is in several parts.

We sent out a few replays.... guess what the average watch time was?

14 minutes and 54 seconds...

This reminds me of a great lesson I learned from Jeff Walker, the author of 'Launch', and the idea of the 'sideways sales letter'... it is simply this...

He was asked, how long should your videos be?

He answered: as long as they NEED TO BE and not a minute more.

So I went back into the editing room and trimmed some more...and some more....and some more... this right here is the next part.

Let me give you a challenge.

Wherever you are watching this video (it is going out to 6 Facebook channels and 2 Youtube channels)...

Please comment and share your biggest insight or a-ha moment.

It's the 11th hour. The train is about to leave the station.

Peter (the floating head against the brick wall) who is my co-host in this video is moving to Florida and with that, he is moving into another phase of his life.

For the rest of this year, we will solely be focusing on teaching a small handful of our best students EVERYTHING WE KNOW.

EVERYTHING.
