Samsung s95d after 1 year is it worth it for pc gaming?
I wanted to share a new video on this TV as I was pretty harsh on my earlier videos it's not a perfect TV but it was good enough to became my main screen especially after the nightmare Sony put me through after my a95k got glowing pixels they basically refused warranty exchange because I couldn't accept the promised exchange they had planned as I was sick at the time they had planned, not to mention them only offering a refurbished unit so my warranty was basically voided as I had a fever and couldn't accept the exchange the moment they offered it. their response is they will no longer be able to offer the exchange so my a95k is basically gone they had amazing warranty in the past so it's a shame
the Samsung s95d has its issues but it's a TV I can recommend for pc gaming the black out issue I had went away and now it only happens rarely so I got used too it it's still there but now it's rare, the speakers are very disappointing but I got used to them, tizen apart from the exclusive Philips hue integration is awful, processing is still not on par with Sony, there's certain parts of games etc that look very low res someone else confirmed the same issues, for example the loading screen on mafia definitive edition, I may make a more in depth video on this in the future as it's a very strange issue the windows wallpaper looks awful for this reason I think it's called banding
overall if you're looking for the best and biggest qd oled TV I can strongly recommend the Samsung s95d Sony is a good choice too but not after my experience they are also twice as expensive and I then expect a good customer experience
