As a kid, I fricken adored this cartoon back in the days. After school, I would rush home to catch this on afternoon t.v. I just loved the off beat humor, the animation style and the characters (Speedy, my fave). I also even knew the entire words to the Samurai pizza cats fan club oath LOL.
The game adaptation of the cartoon was developed and published by Tecmo in 1991 for the Famicom/NES. Though the game was never released outside of Japan, the version I am playing is a fan based English translation.
Players take the role of the three Samurai Pizza Cats and otasuke (Rescue Team) members, of whom can be switched to at any time and have their own special abilities to progress through the game. The game features most of the characters in the series as well as an additional villain, a mysterious scientist named Dr. Purple (Dr. γγΌγ)....
Here, I play through the first stage of the game. "Alien Attack on Little Tokyo" as Speedy.
