San Diego 3 Railers Lionel CSX ES44AC action; June 18th, 2022
5Went down to the San Diego 3-Railers on June 18th, and had a good day operating my usual manifest freight train. This time the manifest freight train has 2 new freight cars added into it, 2 Atlas O Premier 50’ high cube boxcars. My manifest freight train is at 33 cars now; I will eventually add 2 more freight cars to it and get the train to 35 cars. The cars have been shuffled around a bit too. You will notice the GATX car has the door crack open a bit some of the shots, the doors were looser on that car than on the TTX one and I didn’t realize it would cause that issue. But it should be resolved, now that I taped the door closed from the inside. Train ran perfectly throughout the day, no issues.

1st clip (00:00): CSXT 3194 starts up and rolls out the manifest freight train
2nd to 15th clips (02:23): Manifest freight train rolls by at various points of the layout
16th clip (14:53): CREX 1201 starts up and prepares to move
17th clip (15:18): CREX 1201 gets itself into position for swapping with CSXT 3194
18th clip (16:39): CSXT 3194 swaps with CREX 1201 and pulls into an engine shed for the day, CREX 1201 departs with manifest freight in tow.
