Scaling Agile Projects with Proper Testing
In large-scale projects testing is typically separated from software development. While most development teams nowadays have adopted some sort of agile development models they're typically still embedded in an overall water-fall process - mostly with separated test organizations.
The presentation is based on hands-on experiences from implementing an agile development model at Swiss Railroad SBB for their train dispatching systems. We demonstrate how different test approaches can be properly embedded in a Scrum based development process:
How is testing reflected in Scrum roles, activities and artifacts?
Different objectives require different test types.
How can different test levels embedded in an agile process?
