Stop-Motion Transformation of Scifigure Industry CS-02 Aegopter. A splendid work of art. I love how the gold diecast parts shine through the panel openings. This is easily the best helicopter figure I have ever handled, and with the same quality and detail as their previous J-20 figure. The helicopter is a CAIC Z-10, which serves as a tank-killer for the PLA in China. Even more so than their J-20 plane, this thing transforms COMPLETELY. Even the few leftover squares on the bottom of the helicopter (like the mount) actually line up with panels on the bottom of the actual helicopter. Amazing work. Looking forward to whatever they come out with next.

Production Note: This was a long shoot. I shot it on the mount, but since the whole thing on the mount behaves like a torsion pendulum, I spent a LOT of time waiting for the vibrations to settle down for each picture. Which is why it took me 3.5 hours to shoot. It also has a lot of steps. Sorry for the twitch when I put the gun in his hand during the turnaround. Those nacelles that form his calves had come undone somehow and I had to fix them.

Every step of the transformation is documented in the frames of the video, in what I consider to be the best sequence. With minimal rubbing and minimal parts-parking.
