UH-AH-AH, YOU DIDN’T SAY THE MAGIC WORD!! With the Summer Blockbuster Season kicking off this month, I thought it would be great to look at some of the Scrapped things related to the new releases – like Avengers Infinity War, Solo: A Star Wars Story and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Which led me down a nostalgic rabbit hole…where I found the infamous, TRICERATOPS ENCOUNTER, formally at Universal Studios Islands of Adventure in the Jurassic Park themed area…

So what was the Triceratops Encounter? Well it’s exactly as it sounds, and attraction where YOU the guest get to encounter a “living” breathing triceratops. Now of course with the popularity of the Jurassic Park franchise, it’s somewhat hard to imagine why this attraction wouldn’t still be around. So for your viewing pleasure, I took the time to do a little research as to why the Triceratops Encounter was Scrapped from the theme park, as well as what came of the area and if it will ever be Unscrapped!!
