In part three I will use four different methods on a sphere
1- Multiple radial symmetry
Normally if you create the radial shapes then decide to duplicate it and create a smaller shapes in the middle of the individual shapes it would be almost impossible.
The secret here is to make a copy of the object after you put it in the position and before you validate it.
2- cutting with shapes
In this example you will learn how to make an Octagon with a sphere roundness to fit in the sphere.
3- cutting with masks
In this example it’s mix of masking/unmasking/splitting
The down side of this method it will make your sphere empty from inside.
But to get the effect right you can add another smaller sphere inside.
4- curvy cuts
In the final example you learn how to make interesting cut on the sphere
Using a cylinder.
