SITUATION
Namalsk, a forgotten and thought abandoned Soviet Bloc mining colony has been brought to our attention after receiving a radio transmission from one Mitya Borisov, a former Soviet Colonel stationed on the islands. The information we gathered was brief, but has since been verified. The acting military leaders refused orders of dissolution during the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991, and instead opted to cut all contact with the outside world.
MISSION & EXECUTION
During lasts nights raid, a USMC AV-8B Harrier, callsign Knight 2-1 was shot down by the ZSU-23 near the Dam. The aircraft was completely destroyed and crashed into the Arctic waters. The pilot, Captain Jacob Winters, is believed to be alive due to a radio call after his aircraft was hit. Captain Winters has not made radio contact and is presumed to have been captured as he floated down on his parachute just north of the Sebjan Dam. Intel believes the pilot is being held at one of two locations. Find him and bring him home. A US Navy SH-60 Seahawk will be on standby to extract him once you rescue him.
