SITUATION
On 1 January 1991, after increasing violence in Mogadishu during the Somali Civil War, James Keough Bishop, the US ambassador to Somalia is requesting military assistance to evacuate the embassy. Over the course of the subsequent nine days, the United States military including the USS Guam, the USS Trenton, the 4th Marine Expeditionary Brigade, Air Force AC-130s, and Navy SEALs prepare for the evacuation of the diplomats. Americans and other foreign nationals have sought shelter in the Embassy compound as the reign of Somali dictator Siad Barre disintegrates into a confused battle for control of Mogadishu.

MISSION
SEAL Team V, Echo Platoon is to board a CH-53E Super Stallion and insert via fast rope onto the Embassy compound. Secure the compound and set security against any potential quick reaction forces. Your main objective is to rescue US Ambassador Bishop and his wife. Your secondary objective is to rescue any foreign diplomats that have taken shelter in the facility. Await for an extraction helicopter and get them back to the USS Nimitz.
